McQ Technology Development Expertise

McQ develops and manufactures embedded systems, instrumentation systems, unattended ground sensors, and custom prototype systems using a broad variety of technologies. Many of these systems are characterized by having one or more multimodal sensor nodes that are widely distributed yet connected in a network via wired and wireless links. The systems are designed to be easy to use, rugged (and in many cases shock hardened), and operate for several months to several years on small battery packs, and even longer on renewable power sources including solar panels and energy harvesting techniques. Each device contains the required analog signal conditioning, communications, and signal processing/control software to manage the low power yet high performance goals of the system. McQ’s networked systems include hostile environment monitoring; Situation Awareness activity detection; Intelligence, Security, Surveillance (ISR) systems; secure global information networks; and complex User Interface display and system command and control. McQ has delivered thousands of its systems which are currently in use by DHS, DoE, DoI, DoJ and DoD and foreign governments throughout the US and the world. McQ develops new capabilities under research and development contracts, as well as produces high technology systems that result from the internal product development efforts. A team of McQ engineers and computer scientists are continuously developing new products and McQ’s production team manufactures our products in a technology based process in an onsite production facility.

McQ specializes in manufacturing products and prototypes. This includes products that McQ has designed as well as products that our clients have designed. We have a skilled team of technicians that are ready to work with you to manufacture your products or prototypes. We work closely with all of our customers to make sure that all groups are getting what they need. Using custom made test fixtures and other environmental equipment, McQ is capable of doing whatever testing you may need as well. Our team of technicians are continuing to stay certified to work with assemblies where precision and quality are critical.
