Production Test Engineer

McQ Inc. Production division has an opening for an entry level Production Test Engineer. The Production Test Engineer is responsible for configuring, programming, testing and documentation of deliverable products. Test fixture and equipment development, design, upgrade and maintenance are performed by the Production Test Engineer. Firmware and Software design and development by the Production Test Engineer is necessary to support continuing operations of test fixtures. The Production Test Engineer will test products at the production facility and occasionally in the field or at a customer’s facility. An example of job duties could include: Personal Computer Software Design, Firmware Design, Hardware Design, Chassis Design Test Fixture Design, Test Fixture Software Design, Program Printed Circuit Boards, Program Units and or Configure Units, Test Printed Circuit Boards, Test Units, Test Fixture Software Maintenance, Unit Software Maintenance, Hardware Maintenance. Production Engineering Experience or proficiency in all job duties is not required and on the job training will be provided. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or Computer Engineering Technology is required.
